The City of Melissa does not offer digital fingerprinting services. For digital fingerprinting, contact your local Department of Public Safety Officer.
Note: The Police Department does not do fingerprints for immigration or license-to-carry purposes.
Fees
The fee for fingerprinting service is $10 for up to four cards. The person to be fingerprinted must provide a picture ID and a receipt obtained from records proving that they have paid for the service. Any cards rejected due to print quality issues will be reprinted free of charge. All other reasons for rejection will be subject to the $10 fee. The Police Department only accepts cash or checks; checks can be made out to The City of Melissa.
Children
The Police Department will provide free fingerprinting services to children ages 5 to 12 using the Child ID Kit. We do not provide child photographs or ID cards for citizens.
