Notary Service - Please note that these services will be discontinued starting January 1, 2026.

Notary Services are available Monday-Friday 10:00 am to 5:30 pm for $6 per document and $1 per additional signature (cash only). Please call the library (972-837-4540) ahead of time to check if a notary is available. If your notary requires witnesses, please bring your own.  Staff or other patrons may be unavailable or unwilling to serve as witnesses.

Do not sign your documents until you are in front of a Notary. Notaries Public WILL NOT complete a notary form if a document has already been signed.

Documents must have a clear notary paragraph and signature area. If the document does not have one, a notarial certificate may be requested. The person for whom a notarization is performed will choose the notarial certificate, and the Notary Publics may add that certificate to the document. Notaries Public WILL NOT advise or choose which notarial certificate for the document. If a notarial certificate is not requested or chosen from the forms available, Notaries Public have the right to not notarize the document.

Notaries Public WILL NOT notarize paperwork related to Visa applications and Visa renewals or certify copies of recordable documents such as birth certificates, marriage licenses, passports, or drivers licenses.  Recordable documents may be obtained by contacting the recording entity, such as the secretary of state's office, a court of law, a county clerk, or the Bureau of Vital Statistics.

Technology - Computers, scanning, and printing are available. If you need to scan or fax, please let staff perform this action for you.

• 50₵  per page for color copies/prints
• FAXING - currently on hold for IT updates to new printer
• Lamination must be reserved 1 business day in advance. $3/foot for lamination
• $1/hr and the library's discretion for 3D prints. Please contact the library for more information.

Reserve Pickup - Reserves are available to pick from the shelf near the New Adult books.  Please come in, remove the paper wrapped around your item, and leave the paper with the front desk. This allows us to check out items without your card or scanning each item!
