    Hours of Operation

    The library’s hours are:

    • Monday: 10 am to 6 pm
    • Tuesday: 10 am to 6 pm 
    • Wednesday: 10 am to 6 pm
    • Thursday: 10 am to 6 pm
    • Friday: 10 am to 6 pm
    • Saturday: 10 am to 3pm
    • Sunday: Closed

  • Melissa Public Library Services & Fees (CASH ONLY)

    • Copying/Printing:
      • $0.15 per page (Black and White)
      • $0.50 per page (Color)
    • 3D Printing
      • $1 per hour and at the library's discretion.  Please contact the library for more information.
    • FAXING - currently on hold for IT updates to new printer
    • Notary (please note this service will end January 1, 2026): $6 per document needing notarization and $1 per additional signature.
      • Please bring a valid photo ID and do not pre-sign documents
      • Please call the library (972-837-4540) to check if a notary is available.

  • Library Card Requirements

    • 18 and older: valid Texas Driver’s License or a bill with current address information.
    • Under 18: Parent/Guardian with valid Texas Driver’s License

    Paper Library Card Applications are available at the front desk! Otherwise, try our online catalog to get a get a temporary card number until you can come to the library to pick up your physical card!
