1. How do I view Meeting Agendas and Minutes?

Meeting agendas will be posted on the City of Melissa’s website at least 72 hours before the meeting. Meeting Minutes will be posted following approval at the subsequent City Council, Planning and Zoning, and Board of Adjustment meeting. View Meeting Agendas and Minutes.

2. How do I view City budget and financial information?

The City of Melissa values financial accountability and to that end, the information provided under our Financial Transparency webpage supports our goals of transparent government, good stewardship, and open communication. You will find the current fiscal year’s adopted annual budget as well as the financial report for the previous fiscal year posted on this page. Past budgets and financial reports are also available in the Document Center through this page.

3. How do I view the City Event Calendar?

The City’s main event and meeting calendar is available online and is accessible via the home page.

4. How do I view the latest news and updates from the City?

The City of Melissa offers many ways for our residents to stay connected and informed about the latest happenings within the City.

City Maps can be viewed at any time by visiting the Maps page of the Development Services Department site. 

6. How do I view the Melissa Public Library Catalog?

Patrons who hold library cards with the Melissa Public Library can access the full catalog online.

7. How do I view library events and programs?

The Melissa Public Library posts the latest events and programs under the Library page. Additionally, there are many ways to receive library news, choose the one(s) best suited for you! If you sign up for the following news sites, you will receive the most up-to-date and earliest news!

8. How do I view the Utility Billing calendar?

To aid our customers in planning their bill payments, the City of Melissa has posted a Utility Billing Calendar (PDF) for the current calendar year. This calendar is being provided in good faith and with the understanding that dates may change due to unforeseen factors, and in the event of a discrepancy, the due date printed on your bill supersedes this calendar. 9. How do I view utility rates and fees?

The City of Melissa utility rates and fees for the current fiscal year are posted on the Rates and Fees section of the Utility Billing webpage. Additionally, we have created a Frequently Asked Questions section to address common questions regarding utility rates here as well. Should you have further questions, please email Utility Billing.

10. How do I view water quality reports?

The Annual Water Quality Report is a summary of the quality of the water the City of Melissa provides to its’ customers. The analysis for this report was made by using the data from the most recent U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) required tests and is presented in the required Consumer Confidence Report (CCR) which must be filed with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality annually. The CCR for the previous water year is typically published annually in late June and the City includes notification of the reports available in the utility bill sent out during that time as well.
