Exciting news for fishing enthusiasts! Lake Perry Fisher is available for recreational fishing. Before you head out to enjoy a day on the water, here’s what you need to know.
Rules/Regulations:
- Fishing is permitted with a pole and line only. Rod and reel, fly rod and cane pole are permitted. No more than two (2) poles are permitted per person. Trotlines, throw lines, jug lines, fish traps, seines, cast nets, bows and spears are prohibited.
- Attaching identification tags to fish and other animals is prohibited.
- Fishing is limited to catch-and-release only. Fish that are caught must be returned back to the body of water from which they came.
- Fishing between sunset and sunrise is prohibited.
- Fishing is only allowed in designated areas of Lake Perry Fisher and Melissa Lake Park only; fishing is not allowed in any other fountain, pond, lake, stream or other body of water located in a park.
- All anglers who are required by law to have a fishing license must have a valid license as required by law.

Note: Melissa Lake is currently under construction as part of the Phase II project for Melissa Lake Park. Once the project is completed, Melissa Lake will be available for recreational fishing.
