Working at the direction of the City Manager's Office, the Communications Department oversees communication activities throughout Melissa's departments and staff to keep the community informed and engaged on all things Melissa.
The Communications Department is responsible for:
- Engaging our neighbors through social media and weekly e-newsletter
- Sharing information with the community about upcoming City events
- Maintaining relationships between the City and press
- Crisis communications
