MELISSA POLICE AND FIRE DEPARTMENTS RESPOND TO TRAGIC PEDESTRIAN ACCIDENT
MELISSA, TX— On November 6, 2024, at approximately 5:56 pm, the Melissa Police Department and Melissa Fire Department responded to a tragic incident involving an auto and pedestrian. A juvenile female was struck by a vehicle and became trapped underneath the sedan.
Despite immediate rescue efforts, the young victim unfortunately succumbed to her injuries. The identity of the victim will not be released at this time.
In response to this devastating incident, the crash team has been activated and is investigating the scene.
