Citation Dismissal by Demonstrating Compliance
The following offenses may be dismissed by the Court Clerk if the violation has been corrected within 20 business days, or before the defendant's court appearance date, whichever is later and payment of a dismissal fee.
- Expired Motor Vehicle Registration (only if expired less than 60 days or proof of penalty paid)
- Expired Driver's License
- Failure to Change Address on Driver's License within 30 Days
- Failure to Display Driver's License
- Failure to Maintain Financial Responsibility (No Insurance) can be dismissed at no charge if valid insurance coverage on the day the citation was written is shown.
If you do not dispose of your citation by one of these methods before your court date, you must appear on the scheduled court date. If you fail to appear on the scheduled court date, it may result in additional fees.
